$100K Donation in Honor of Board Chair Benavidez

RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – The Starr-Camargo Bridge Company today donated $100,000 to South Texas College Foundation, the largest award since the organization’s establishment earlier this fall.
Company President Sam Vale presented STC with the first installment of what will be $100,000 over the next 10 years to what it called the “Rose First Starr Fund” in honor of STC Board of Trustee Chair Rose Benavidez.
