The votes from the 2021 City of McAllen municipal general and special elections have been officially canvassed and it is now time to welcome the returning and the newly elected officials with an official swearing in ceremony to the McAllen City Commission.
Mayor Darling delivered the Oath of Office to returning trustees Charles Amos, Place and Ernie Williams, Place D. Judge Aliseda delivered the Oath of Office to newly elected trustee, Place B, Ric Godinez.

Amos and Williams expressed their appreciation for the support they received from the residents of McAllen and Godinez indicated that he was looking forward to being a voice for the community. All are ready to get working for McAllen residents.
